Welcome to Sizzle Media Group and our Privacy Policy (“Policy”). This Policy describes how Sizzle Media Group, Inc. as well as its affiliates and subsidiaries ("SMG," "we," "us," or "our") use information that we collect, receive, maintain, and store about you, with whom we share the information, and how you can opt-out of a use for such information. This Policy supplements and forms a part of Sizzle’s Terms of Use (“Terms”) www.myworldchef.com/terms-of-use and it applies to information that is collected or processed in the course of our business, including via our websites, electronic communications, interfaces on devices connected to our websites, through applications, forums, social media accounts, blogs, studios, and other online or offline offerings (together with any and all future online and offline offerings operated by or on behalf of SMG) (collectively, “Platform”). You consent to this Policy by interacting with us through our Platform.

1.Types of Personal Information Collected

SMG collects a range of Personal Information from its current, prospective, and former customers, members, users, visitors, and guests (collectively “Individuals”). “Personal Information” refers to information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with or linked to an individual. Personal Information also includes other information (i.e. information that does not, on its own, identify you) that is used in conjunction or combination with Personal Information.

When you use our Platform, contact us directly, or engage in certain activities, such as registering an account with SMG, purchasing SMG products, or participating in events either in-person or online using our Platform, we may ask you to provide some or all of the types of Personal Information described below.

Contact and Demographic Information.

If you create an account, sign up for our newsletter, or submit an inquiry, we will collect your name and contact information. This contact information may include your name, phone number, email address, and zip code.

Purchases and Payment Information.

If you purchase SMG products, events, or subscriptions from us through our Platform, we will collect your payment information including your name, email address, phone number, credit card information, mailing address, billing address, and/or other related information that may be required from you to complete your purchase. We will also collect your purchase details. Your payment information is processed by a third party processor, and we do not collect, store or maintain your payment information.

Account Information.

If you create an account with us, we will collect your username and password, and any other information you upload through the World Chef Site or corresponding application.

User Profiles.

When you create an account, you will be given the opportunity to create a “User Profile.” In addition to providing us with your username and password, you may also provide us with information such as email address, age, location, dietary restrictions, food preferences, birthday, phone number, and images, photos, or an avatar. Only your email address and username are required to set up your User Profile. The other information you provide is optional.

Once your User Profile is created, anytime you log in and access our Platform, we may collect additional information and add it to your User Profile, including for example, information regarding events you purchased, your purchase history, dates you purchased events, your location, your reviews, your food preferences, your dietary restrictions, your followers, and who you are following. Information in your User Profile can also include awards and achievements provided via the Platform.

You acknowledge that information associated with your User Profile may be personal to you, and by creating a User Profile and providing such information through our Platform, you allow others, including SMG, to identify you and therefore you may not be anonymous. Information in your User Profile may be displayed on digital signage during events or displayed outside events to other users accessing the Platform. User Profiles are set to “Public” by default, which means that other registered SMG users will also be able to view your User Profile information, and those users can contact or follow you through the Platform. You have the option to set your profile to “Private,” which means that only members who you approve as followers can see your User Profile information, and you can remove other users from your followers.

Voice and Likeness.

We may capture your visual image, likeness, and voice recording (e.g., via pictures and/or video) if you attend an event, visit our studios, participate in events, upload content, and/or contact our customer support team. Additionally, the devices you use to access our Platform may contain a camera, microphone and voice control features. These features are in use only when activated by you, for example, to take a User Profile photo, participate in an event, or to initiate or accept a video chat from another user.

Dietary Information.

When registering for events or creating your User Profile, we may ask for dietary restrictions and food preferences.

Feedback Information.

If you interact with us through our Platform, you may submit feedback. This feedback may be in real time during live events or through follow-up questionnaires. In addition, from time to time, we (or third parties acting on our behalf) may contact you to participate in research, surveys or beta testing or to provide reviews and testimonials. If you decide to participate, you may be asked to provide certain information, which may include Personal Information. All information collected from your participation in our research, surveys, reviews or testimonial process, or beta testing is provided by you voluntarily. We may use such information to improve our products, our website, and/or Platform, and in any manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Internet Posting on SMG Platforms or Third Party Services.

SMG may offer publicly accessible blogs, social media pages, product review pages, private messages, video chat or community forums. You should be aware that, when you disclose information about yourself on SMG’s blogs, social media pages, product review pages, private messages, community forums, and within video chat sessions, SMG will collect the information you provide in such submissions, including any Personal Information. If you choose to submit content, including reviews, to any public area of the Platform or on any public sites operated by third parties, such content will be considered “public” and will not be subject to the privacy protections provided in this Privacy Policy.

Location Data.

Your mobile device or browser may share your location data, including WiFi location data and Global Positioning System (GPS) location data when using our Platform. SMG will collect this information based on the settings of your phone and browser.

Usage Information.

We may also collect usage and device information when you use our Platform. This may include information about the browser, operating system, and/or device identifier for the device you are using, including your Internet Service Provider (ISP) information and Internet Protocol (IP) information, navigation activity on our website, as well as the websites that you came from and the site you visit when you leave.

2.Method of Information Collection

We collect Personal Information in a variety of ways. We collect information directly from you; for example, when you register an account on the Platform, make a purchase, submit a job application, or correspond with us through the Platform.

We also collect information from third parties. For example we work with business partners, subcontractors in technical and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, and search information providers.

We also collect information from you passively. The Platform uses tracking tools like cookies, pixels, and web beacons. We collect information, including usage and browser type, from the Platform and in emails that we send to you. We use these tools to collect information about users over time. We may also have third parties collect Personal Information in this way. For more information about the trackers that we use, please see Section 6 of this Policy. Additionally, if you enable location data on your device, location data will be collected passively based on the location settings on your device.

3. Combining Information

We may combine Personal Information. For example we may combine information that we collect online with information that we collect offline. Offline information can include, for instance, information relating to calls between you and our support team. We may also combine information that we collect across other third party sites or from other third parties with information we previously collected. Finally, we combine information across devices.

5.Sharing Personal Information

We may share your Personal Information in the following circumstances:

Affiliates and Subsidiaries.

We may share your Personal Information with our affiliates companies and subsidiary companies.

During Live Events.

If you participate in any event, live or webcast, your username may be shared with other participants in the event and with individuals watching recordings of the event. If you enable video, your likeness and activity during the event may also be shared with these individuals.

Service Providers.

When we hire a service provider to help operate the Platform or our business, we may give access to Personal Information as necessary to perform the service for SMG. This may include service providers that prepare and deliver meal kits, operate our website, send our communications, or run our promotions.

Business Partners.

SMG may share Personal Information to our trusted business partners. For example, we may share your Personal Information with a company that co-sponsors events or offers a related promotion or service. These trusted business partners may use your Personal Information to, among other things, send you information or contact you about their services and products.

Third Parties for Marketing Purposes.

We may share your Personal Information with third parties for their marketing purposes. This may include third parties whose services we believe you may be interested or who are interested in providing you with services. These third parties may share your Personal Information with others and may use this information for their own interest based advertising.

Legal obligation or protection from harm.

When SMG has a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of your Personal Information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy or comply with any requirement of law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce or investigate a potential violation of the Terms of Use, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise respond to fraud, security or technical concerns, (d) support auditing and compliance functions, or (e) protect the rights, property, or safety of SMG, its users, or the public against harm.

Merger or sale.

If and when SMG is involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of transfer or sale of some or all of its business, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, Personal Information may be transferred along with the business. Where legally required, we will give you prior notice of any transfer and if you have a legal right to do so, an opportunity to object to the transfer.

Required Required cookies are essential for the Platform to function properly and for you to navigate our Site and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the Platform and using our services.
Performance Performance cookies collect information about how you use the Platform, including which pages you go to most often and if they receive error messages from certain pages. We sometimes use cookies delivered by third parties to track the performance of our advertisements. For example, these cookies remember which browsers have visited the Platform. The information provided to third parties does not include Personal Information, but this information may be re-associated with Personal Information after we receive it.

8.Children Under the Age of 13

The Platform is meant for adults and we will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from any person under the age of 13 without permission from a parent or guardian. The Platform are not designed to attract the attention of persons under the age of 13. 9.California Privacy Rights

Pursuant to California’s Shine the Light statute (Cal. Civ. Code Sec. 1798.83), you can control if we share information with third parties for their marketing purposes. To opt-out of us sharing your information with third parties for such promotional purposes, email us at support@worldchef.zendesk.com and include “Marketing Opt-Out” in your request.

10.Storage, Security and Retention of Information

SMG takes reasonable steps to protect the information users share with us, including, but not limited to, setup of processes, equipment and software to avoid unauthorized access or disclosure of this information. No transmission of information via the Internet can be entirely secure, however, so please always use caution when submitting Personal Information. We will retain your Personal Information in compliance with the uses described in this Policy, as well as to comply with our legal, financial reporting, or compliance obligations.

11.Links to Third Parties and their Sites

The Platform may include third party content and links to third party websites and services that collect Personal Information. We do not control these third parties and this Policy does not apply to their privacy practices. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties or how they use information you provide to them. Please read the third parties’ privacy policies carefully.
